Help

Get started with FixLog.

Create a Space, add assets, set reminders, log work, attach proof, and export records when you need them.

Start with these steps.

The same setup works for a shop, office, facility, fleet, rental operation, service area, or any other Space.

1

Create your first Space

Choose Business, Shop, Facility, Fleet, Office, Rental Operation, or another name that matches what you maintain.

2

Add your first asset

Add an appliance, piece of equipment, vehicle, room, tool, or system. Use a template when one fits.

3

Add reminders

Create recurring work such as filter changes, inspections, cleaning, lubrication, seasonal maintenance, or vendor service.

4

Log maintenance

When work is complete, save what was done, the cost, vendor, parts, notes, and follow-up details.

5

Add photos and documents

Attach receipts, manuals, invoices, inspection reports, warranty PDFs, repair photos, and serial plate photos to the correct asset.

6

Export or back up records

Use reports, CSV exports, QR labels, and backup files when you want copies outside the app.

Use QR labels

Create a QR label for an asset, print it, place it on or near the item, and scan it later to open the exact record.

Restore purchase

If you reinstall FixLog or move devices, use Restore Purchase in the app while signed in with the same Apple ID.

Frequently asked questions.

Quick answers for common setup, data, and support questions.

Does FixLog require an account?

No. The core FixLog workflow is designed for local use without requiring an account.

Can I track multiple business locations separately?

Yes. Create separate Spaces for each location, department, fleet, shop, or operation. Each Space keeps its own assets, reminders, documents, costs, and maintenance history separate.

Can I attach manuals or paperwork?

Yes. FixLog supports photos and documents for records such as manuals, invoices, inspection forms, receipts, and warranties.

Can I keep copies of my records?

Yes. Use export and backup tools to keep copies of your asset and maintenance data outside the app.

Can I use FixLog on more than one device?

FixLog supports syncing maintenance records across supported devices, so asset details, logs, reminders, and photos can stay available where you need them across iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
